Dear friends,
Docip has the pleasure to share with you the Synthesis on the 14th session/regional meetings of the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP) that took place virtually from July 12 to 16, 2021.
For its 14th session/regional meetings the Expert Mechanism focused on two ongoing studies: “Draft Study and Advice on the Rights of the Indigenous Child under the United Nations” and “Draft Report on efforts to implement the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples: Indigenous Peoples and the Right to Self-Determination”.
This Summary includes a paragraph of introduction, followed by an executive summary of presentations and statements and annexe.
