112TH SESSION OF THE COMMITTEE ON THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION
2024-04-08 - 2024-04-29Docip has the pleasure to inform you on the 37th session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC), which will be held at the headquarters of WIPO in Geneva, from August 27 to 31, 2018.
The ICF will take place in the Uchtenhagen Room, WIPO Headquarters (AB Building), Geneva on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
There will be daily meetings of the Indigenous Peoples' Caucus (room tbc): 8:30 am - 10:00 am and 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
The Panel of Indigenous and Local Communities will take place on Monday, August 27, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The theme of the panel at the Thirty-Seventh Session is: "The Differences and/or Similarities between Intellectual Property Protection of Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions – Indigenous Peoples’ and Local Communities’ Perspectives”.
