Dear friends,
Docip has the pleasure to share with you the Synthesis on the 13th session/regional meetings of the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP) that took place virtually from the 30th November to the 3rd of December 2020.
The 13th session/regional meetings of this year's Expert Mechanism focused on “The impact of COVID-19 on the rights of indigenous peoples under the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples’’.
This Summary summed up the statements of the plenary sessions made during the regional meetings, starting with a paragraph of introduction, followed by an executive summary, summaries of the statements and annexes.
