2016-04-30

In the framework of the 15th session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, Docip offers its new strategic support service to indigenous delegates interested in UN mechanisms.

Our service covers the following themes :

  • Support for documentation and legal research
  • Networking with other delegates and organizations, UN and EU systems, etc.
  • Follow up on the agenda of the treaty bodies and the UPR
  • Communication to the Special Rapporteur or other UN bodies regarding the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
  • etc.

The support services are offered in English, Spanish and French, as well as with Russian interpretation by our consultant Josée Daris. You can find her from May 9 to 20, between 8:30 and 10 am and between 1:00 and 3:00 pm in Docip’s technical secretariat located in Conference Room A, floor B1, Conference Building, UN Headquarters. You can also ask for an appointment by email to: josee(at)docip.org.
