The Secretariat of the Human Rights Council is currently accepting applications for the following seven vacancies of independent United Nations experts of the Human Rights Council:

- Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP), member from Asia [HRC res. 33/25]
- Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP), member from North America [HRC res. 33/25]
- Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP), member from the Pacific [HRC res. 33/25]
- Special Rapporteur on the right to development [HRC res. 33/14]
- Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association [HRC res. 32/32]
- Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances, member from Latin American and Caribbean States [HRC res. 27/1]
