Dear friends,

Docip has the pleasure to inform you on a call for endorsement from the Indigenous Peoples Major Group for Sustainable Development. Please forward this call to your indigenous networks.

 

 

Call for endorsement of the Indigenous Peoples initiative for the 2019 Climate Summit

Process and endorsement:

 

  • Indigenous peoples, governments, multilateral agencies, civil society organizations, financing entities, private sector, philanthropic organizations and research organizations are invited to endorse this Vision Statement by signing in.
  • The initiative will be announced in New York during the UNSG Climate Summit.
  • Those who sign up to endorse this Initiative shall commit to contribute and collaborate and build/strengthen partnerships with indigenous peoples to achieve the vision of this Initiative
