Dear Friends, Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the publication of Docip’s Summary Notes of the 24th Session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII).

These notes provide a concise and faithful overview of the discussions, statements, and outcomes of the session, offering a valuable resource for Indigenous delegates, organizations, and all those engaged in the work of the UNPFII.

You can access the Summary Notes on our website, via our social media, or via our newsletter.

We extend our gratitude to all who contributed to this work and to the Indigenous Delegates and partners who continue to make the Forum a space of dialogue, advocacy, and mutual learning.

At a time when spaces for civil society are shrinking and the call for support is stronger than ever, we must extend our most heartfelt appreciation for all the interpreters, translators and volunteers who ensure that Docip can continue to support the work of Indigenous Peoples at the global level and who came together to support the drafting of these notes.

Chantel, Tessa, Mateo, Gezi, Laura, Rachel, Ashley, Alessandra, Nicole, Sham, Jakub, Cynthia, Alice, Elif, Pablo and Tai, thank you for your invaluable support during this year’s session.

With warm regards,
Tristan P. Harnisch & the Docip Team
