112TH SESSION OF THE COMMITTEE ON THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION
2024-04-08 - 2024-04-29Docip has the pleasure to inform you on the Forty-First session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC), which will be held at the headquarters of WIPO in Geneva,from March 16 - 20, 2020.
The Indigenous Peoples' Preparatory Meeting will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2020 (for further information please contact Johanna Massa: johanna.massa(at)docip.org).
There will be daily meetings of the Indigenous Peoples' Caucus: 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM (tbc)
The Panel of Indigenous and Local Communities will take place on Monday, March 16, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The theme of the panel at the Forty-First Session is: “Intellectual Property and Utilization of Genetic Resources: Indigenous Peoples’ and Local Communities’ Perspective”.
