Information from Docip on the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP 12) in Geneva

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to present the latest information from Docip on the 12th session of the UN Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP). The conference will take place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva from July 15 to 19, 2019.

 

Our “Information Document on the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples” contains a summary of the most important and useful information regarding the 12th session and presents practical information, a list of reference documents and a list of useful contacts.

The “Bibliography of the 12th session of the Expert Mechanism” provides you with references to help you prepare well for the conference.

The “Fact Sheet on the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples” contains practical information for your effective participation in the session.

The document, “Docip services during the 12th session of the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples”, presents the services and tools available from Docip to facilitate your work during the session.

The “Docip daily agenda during the Expert Mechanism” provides you with a daily updated schedule listing official meetings, side events, indigenous caucus meetings and events outside of the UN.

 

Preparatory Meeting of the Global Indigenous Peoples Caucus

The Caucus preparatory meeting will take place on Sunday, July 14, 2019, from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Swiss Press Club, 106, route de Ferney (Bus 5 - Intercontinental Stop). Docip will provide interpretation services in English, French, Spanish and Russian.
