Individuals or civil society organizations wishing to participate at their own expense in the annual three-day regional Seminar regarding the Non-Self-Governing Territories inscribed under the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples (American Samoa, Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands (Malvinas)*, French Polynesia, Gibraltar, Guam, Montserrat, New Caledonia, Pitcairn, St. Helena, Tokelau, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States Virgin Islands and Western Sahara), usually held in the second half of May, should submit in good time a written request to the Chair of the Special Committee on Decolonization (C-24) via the Committee Secretary, Ms Jullyette Ukabiala (ukabiala(at)un.org).
