Indigenous Peoples' Preparatory Meeting for the 5th UN Forum on Business and Human Rights

Docip has the pleasure to inform you that the Indigenous Peoples' Preparatory Meeting for the 5th UN Forum on Business and Human Rights will take place on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at "La Pastorale", 106, route de Ferney, Geneva (Bus 5 – Intercontinental stop) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Draft Agenda

  1. Opening Prayer - 10:00 am
  2. Opening Remarks, overview of agenda (Danika Littlechild) 10:10 - 10:20 am
  3. Roundtable of Introductions of all Indigenous Representatives present.10:20-10:40
  4. Election of Co-Chairs and Rapporteurs 10:40-10:45 am
  5. Co-Chairs and Rapporteurs assume their duties 10:45 am
  6. BREAK 10: 45 - 11:00 am
  7. Discussion and inputs for Drafting: Overview of the three major themes of the Forum and the key issues (Co-Chairs) 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
  8. Introduction and Presentations by Guests: Working Group Chair, Mr. Pavel Sulyandziga (Confirmed) (potentially other member of Working Group) and Dominic Renfrey (TBC) - 20 minutes each with Questions and Answers 12:00-13:00 pm (Co-Chairs)
  9. Guests depart 13:00 pm (or later depending on the number of informal questions)
  10. Lunch Break 13:00 pm - 14:00
  11. Continued Discussion and Drafting 14:00 - 15:30 (Co-Chairs)
  12. Break 15:30 - 15:45
