This Summary presents the discussions held, in person and online, during the 16th session of the EMRIP, July 17 to 21, 2023.
To be a Docip volunteer involves putting one’s skills at the service of indigenous delegates during their participation in the UN arena.

2024-04-08 - 2024-04-29We have the pleasure to announce you Docip’s presence at the 16th session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) at the UN Headquarters in New York, April 24 - May 5, 2017. We will offer the following support services for all indigenous delegates attending the conference.
Docip will set up a technical secretariat for Indigenous delegates in Conference Room D, on level B1 of the Conference Building. Our office is open from 9am to 6.30pm.

Docip gathers the statements read during the Permanent Forum and makes them available as fast as possible in our online Documentation Center at cendoc.docip.org. You will also find there references and related documents, as well as our training documentation. The official documents of the 16th session of the UNPFII can also be found on the Permanent Forum’s website.

In cooperation with the UN Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Peoples, Docip is organizing two training sessions open and free for all indigenous delegates. Interpretation is provided in English, Spanish, French and Russian.

The preparatory meeting of the Indigenous Caucus will take place on Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 9:00am to 3:30pm in the UN Church Center, 1st Av./44th St., 2nd floor. Docip's conference services and technical secretariat for Indigenous delegates will be available in the "Boss Room" on the 8th floor.
