The Update/Informativo, doCip's newsletter, summarizes international debates in the UN system regarding the rights of indigenous peoples. It announces future events within the various international bodies so that indigenous organisations can prepare their participation. It also reports on news and publications likely to interest indigenous representatives.

The Update/Informativo is particularly directed towards the indigenous communities and grassroots organizations, and is made in consultation with them.

The Update/Informativo is published four to five times a year in English, Spanish, French and Russian.
