Good bye to our friend Viktor Kaisiepo

Our friend Viktor Kaisiepo passed away. What a shock for all the doCip team. Viktor was one of our best friends and allies. He was speaking all languages and constantly acting as a link, introducing people to each other, integrating everyone and giving the necessary explanations to newcomers. We will remember Viktor laughing and full of humour, notably at the Indigenous Party on the Geneva UN beach, where he was singing, sometimes with melancholy when he was in the company of a brother of his Papuan community. We are sad, terribly sad. We still need him. The memory of his enthusiasm will persist and inspire our work. We convey all our sympathy to his family and community.
